Lower Cost Quality Alternative to New Parts

TurboUSA has a state-of-the-art Technical Center that undertakes turbocharger repairs and reconditioning. The Technical Center permits TurboUSA to avoid expensive middlemen and provides our customers with a lower-cost and yet high quality alternative to new parts.

In addition to the conventional range of Technical Center capabilities (blade repair, dynamic balancing etc.) TurboUSA has two unique capabilities within the Americas.

1.TurboUSA has the only Lloyds ™ Register approved thermal spray shaft repair process in the Americas. Unlike the 300°C Cold Repair process, at the TurboUSA Technical Center the sprayed layer and the underlying shaft metal are fused at 1,200°C. This extraordinary process restores the rotor shaft to its original dimensions and strength.

2.TurboUSA is also one of the few companies in the world that can repair damaged nozzle rings. This repair process extends the useful life of these costly parts. Prior to beginning the repair process, TurboUSA inspects the nozzle ring to ensure that it still adheres to OEM specifications. Nozzle rings that are not within OEM specifications are scrapped. Nozzle rings whose cracks conform to OEM tolerances are repaired according to a 10-step rigorously controlled quality process.
