Marintec China 2009
From its inception in 1981, Marintec China has become the definitive maritime conference and exhibition in Asia. Besides being sponsored by the highest maritime authorities of the Chinese government, overseas government officials, maritime organizations and communities have also shown their tremendous support by participating in the fair. For the fourth time straight, Marintec China 2007 is endorsed by the US Department of Commerce.
Being the focal point for the global maritime industry, the 2005 fair attracted 1,032 exhibiting companies and 30,097 visitors, these figures being 27.6% and 24.7% higher than the previous edition respectively, and was the largest edition in its 24-year history.
The concurrent Senior Maritime Forum is where the highest-level professionals come together to share their experience and discuss the most important issues the industry is facing. With more and more international companies exhibiting at the fair, the Senior Maritime Conference attracts more and more international awareness. Excellent attendance of over 400 maritime professionals was registered over the four-day period in 2005, taking home detailed information on the current state of China’s markets for maritime products, and an in-depth understanding on the limitations and opportunities in the world market.
